Building Modular Cabins for Colorado Resort Neighborhood

Tucked in the pristine mountains of the San Juan National Forest, Engineer Village at Durango Mountain Resort is one of the most beautiful neighborhoods in southern Colorado and it’s going to be the home to multiple upscale modular cabins.

Irontown Homes is midway through construction on the first cabin that will blend in to the mountain setting and 360-degree views with tongue and groove cedar siding, cedar shingles, a wraparound porch and a full walkout basement.

The 2,000 sq. ft. cabin will be delivered and craned into place in October before being finished on site.

The cabins will be constructed primarily in our factory in Spanish Fork, Utah before being shipped to the peaceful neighborhood located right next to Durango Mountain Resort. The cabins in Engineer Village will make ideal resort retreats in the secluded neighborhood.

The modular construction process lends itself perfectly to the neighborhood. By building the majority of the cabins in our factory, the area will see limited noise pollution and traffic due to construction. The modular process will also allow the homes to be fully completed months before a traditional home would be complete in the same neighborhood.
